Comments about Tegra-Lite® Max Extended Trip Packing Case:

The case cracked in multiple places. Tumi warranty would does not cover the repairs. DO NOT BUY !!! I had the case for 2 years and took approximately 5 trips. When I picked up my bag from baggage claim I did not see any cracks whatsoever. A few weeks later I noticed a tiny crack. Which then spread like a spider web. I took it to Tumi repair and they told me that it was not covered by their warranty and that I needed to file a claim with the airline. I am not even certain if it happened on the flight because it was fine when I got it from baggage claim. Because I didn't not inform the airlines right away they won't do anything (and I understand why....because there was nothing wrong with my bag at the airport). Tumi is disgraceful. I am not out hundreds of dollars. I will NEVER buy a Tumi case again strictly based on my customer service experience and their terrible terrible warranty.
