Good For Business, Not Good For Personal

    By Baca

    from Chicago, IL

Comments about Kingsville Deluxe Brief Pack®:

It's a good bag for going to work or school (if you don't have a lot of books). The separate lap-top compartment is good as it isolates your computer. The main compartment is designed for office files.

The downside is that it's not very good if you are using it for personal use other than traveling to work. It's designed exclusively for files and folders so if you are on a plane or going on a trip and want to throw a few stuff in the bag then then it's pretty small, and things that are not shaped like office files will not fit comfortably.

Another downside is that it tends to tip over forwards. Does not happen always, but does happen even if the back of the backpack is filled, so you have to lean it against something.

Would highly recommend for business, would not recommend for personal use.

Comments about Kingsville Deluxe Brief Pack®:

It's a good backpack if you are traveling to work or school and need a place to put your computer, and some files. Would not recommend for anything else.

Not very useful for any other purpose than office, as it does not fit things other than office files or folders. So if you are traveling not for business and want to throw some things in your bag (a hoodie, etc.) then you will have a hard time, as the bag is designed exclusively for business type stuff and almost nothing else.

The only downside is that it's not very stable and sometimes tends to tip forward when you set it down on a flat surface, so you need to have it leaning against something.

Comments about Kingsville Deluxe Brief Pack®:

The bag is really roomy and the pockets are organized really well. It's also one of the most comfortable backpacks I've owned.

It does have a couple of major flaws you need to consider before purchasing it.
    1. There is no padding in the bottom of the laptop sleeve

    2. The ad-a-bag sleeve is too narrow to accommodate any of my luggage handles. I tried it on all of my Briggs and Samsonite. No dice. Probably designed to work only with Tumi luggage which is a shame because it's a nice feature. Tumi needs fix this.

It was truly hard to shell out the cash for this bag compared to a Swiss bag, but honestly no other bag has lasted more than six months for me without breaking. This bag is tough and has pockets to keep the most A.D.D. sales guy organized! I love this thing!

Comments about Kingsville Deluxe Brief Pack®:

I picked out this backpack to take to college with me (as well as something to travel with, especially flying), loving the quality products that Tumi produces. I was also looking at the other Kingsville backpack, but settled on this for size reasons, the size is perfect, it's super lightweight and great for toting around my books to class or whatever else around the city in downtown Boston. The only issue that I have is that when the load is somewhat heavier, the cushioning on the shoulder straps isn't that great. It can get a tad uncomfortable carrying the backpack around for long periods of time, but that's a small trade-off for a great quality product. I'm hoping that the backpack will last me all four years in college, as it is expensive and I'm a college student. But overall, a great product, whether you're looking for a backpack for college, travel, business, or day-to-day needs.

I have an Alpha Bravo Knox backpack that I've used for three years on a daily basis to/from work and on weekend and day trips with the family. I love it, it's worn great, my gear is always protected and functionality is very good. However, there have been times when it is just a little too small to comfortably hold all I want to pack, so I finally decided to invest in a Kingsville Deluxe. I'm so glad that I did. The pockets are much easier to get things in/out of and the space in the larger compartments gives me all the room I need to take extra stuff to work or pack gadget gear for a weekend excursion. The tablet pocket is just icing on the cake.

Comments about Kingsville Deluxe Brief Pack®:

I use this to travel with a computer, a tablet, some printed materials and lots of adapters, plugs etc. (like any modern electronics user). It will hold a few clotting items as well, if you are so inclined.

The only reason I don't give this five stars is the computer must be taken out at checkpoints. I wish this had been designed with a zipper around the computer pocket so it would be TSA "checkpoint friendly." Other than this, it is as near to perfect as I can think of.
