The umbrella is the best one I ever had. It opens and shuts very easy. Its expansion provides protection from the combination of heavy rain and wind. Several times the umbrella was hit by heavy wind but it remained stable by allowing the wind to pass thru the openings in the top cover. It also drys very quickly when it is placed in an open position inside the office or home. I imagine that it will continue to provide good service for a lengthy period of time. I hope that future development will create an umbrella that will shut down all the way to the handle in the same manner in which it opens.
